The Swing Jacket Golf Swing Trainer

Have you seen a poor soul on the range looking like he was wearing a straight jacket and trying to hit balls? If so, you just witnessed someone wearing a Swing Jacket, not a straight jacket.

My curiousity was peaked and I had to locate one to give it a try. Ten phone calls later...I found someone who said I could give it a try at their local range.

I must say...getting this thing on was interesting. You definitely feel "strapped in" when it is finally on. First off...I could not hit a ball! It was very awkward to beso bound up, get in my golf posture, and try to make solid contact.

Secondly, I was a little self-conscious wearing it, but wanted to give it a fair short for this review. After twenty or so attempts, I got the feel of it.

Quite honestly, I wasn't able to make a full swing, and felt very restricted trying to hit a ball. I can see the point of the Swing Jacket, but never felt comfortable enoughto hit some decent golf shots.

It comes with an instructional dvd and bag to put it in, so the packaging is okay, butoverall for me...I would give it a "C grade" for effectiveness and usability.
