Golf Swing Plane Trainer

Haven't you ever seen those huge contraptions usually made of white pvc piping that are at most driving ranges? They are circular in nature and are at an angle, going up about 7 feet in height. These are called golf swing plane trainers. They help you get a feel for the proper swing plane for your body size.

I went to a couple of golf ranges here in Scottsdale and asked the range owner what they thought. Most of them said they would not ever remove it because they get a high enough percent of golfers each day who step in there and make some swings.

My second question to them was ease of set up. They again responed with, "just like any product your buy...whether it be an office desk, television stand, etc...it takestime to get it together", but with minimal tools needed, and lightweight so no added strain on the back while assembling.

One range owner actually gave me the name of a friend who had one in his home. Now this is the kind of feedback I wanted to give you. I set up a time to meet him at his home. He took me to his garage and whoah...you should have seen the golf training garage he had! I could have spent all day in there.

Needless to say, I just wanted his general opinion of his swing plane trainer. He loved it! He said it took up a little more space than some people might want to give up, but during the cold, winter months (not many here...but it does get cold for us), he uses it everyday! He also said the set up was a breeze.
