Golf Putting Track
You've seen these golf putting aids before haven't you? The putting track that helps you keep you swing path straight, producing solid putter face, ball contact?
We have a local Golfsmith store here in Arizona, and I was putzing around one day, and this golf putting aid was set up in the practice putting area. At first it seemed a bit hokey, but I wanted to give it a full 10-15 minutes without taking a normal putt.
What I liked about it, was it made me realize how crooked my putting path was. When I got in there and started making strokes, it felt foreign to me, but after a few putts I could get a sense of straight back and straight through.

I kept this up for 10 minutes or so, then took some normal putts. I was making 70% from about 5 feet, and 50% from about 8 feet. That is better than I normally putt on the course, so the immediate results were there. However, I couldn't take it to the course the very next day. My putting was eratic and I seemed to be fighting my stroke a bit.
Needless to say, if I owned it, and used it regularly, I feel like it would be a benefit. This golf putting aid is not a waste of money in my opinion.
